This is an old photograph
of the fish pass. At the request of the Board
modification requests were made to S.S.E. Together
with funding
from the European Union and with the support
of S.N.H. these changes were made. There is now
a
much better flow through
the pass. For the first time in 2007 (three years
after the changes were made) salmon parr were
found during the Board's regular monitoring programme
above the pass where they were not previously present.
