The Tay District Salmon Fisheries Board is the statutory authority empowered to protect , and improve the salmon fisheries in the catchment.

This means looking after not just Atlantic salmon - Salmo Salar but the River Tay as a whole.

This website provides details of its activities and information on the salmon and salmon fisheries of the River Tay, the largest salmon river in Scotland.
